Who we are

We live on a weird island.

There’s more to this country than office blocks, kebab shops, and pubs where a pint costs £7.50. England is like a rock in a woodland. It’s pretty, it’s unassuming, and it needs to be shaken about to find what’s underneath. We’re shaking rocks like they owe us money, with nothing but time, cameras, and a Vauxhall Agila that wore out its last legs during the Obama administration.

We tear up country roads faster than managed decline and urban negligence. We found Hell on the A23 and stayed long enough for a cup of tea. We’ve stared tigers in the face in the leafy suburbs of Windsor and been at the business end of an elephant tusk. 

A country of eccentrics, grifters, artists and delinquents is being chopped up into a LinkedIn post. We got here right as the rough edges were being sanded off this place and made safe for human consumption. We don’t want them to disappear unnoticed. 

If there’s a story, we’ll find it. It’s worth sticking around.
